Everyone has a passion and mine is helping dogs and their owners live happy and fulfilling lives together. I have a deep understanding of dog behavior and learning theory, and I use this knowledge to develop and implement effective training programs for each of my clients.
When it comes to training I am patient and compassionate, and always learning new ways to train both humans and canines. I have the ability to build strong relationships with both dogs and their owners .Top that off with the real world experience that is needed to train dogs of all ages and breeds. From working with dog that has a specific behavioral problem. To basic obedience I have the skills to get the job done.

Mobile Learning:
How many times have you taken your dog out and he’s have been perfectly fine? Then you return home, and he becomes unruly? Or the reverse. You’re home and the dog is great, then you go out and he rockets out of control. That’s just one reason why That Dog Guy offers MOBILE TRAINING.
All lessons are scheduled at times that are convenient for you. We come to you on your schedule at your home or in your yard. For some sessions, we go “on location” to address issues where your dog’s problem behaviors occur.
Our Mobile Learning includes training in highly distracting environments such as dog-friendly stores and parks. We include use of the trainer’s dogs for distraction and social skills.
That Dog Guy uses a combination of toys, praise and affection to help motivate your dog during training. At the end of the day we meet with the owners and show them everything we covered that day, so we are working together as a team for the dog’s best benefit. With That Dog Guy, all training is conducted with your dog’s best interest in mind by using calm, assertive, fair and consistent techniques.

Why do I need obedience training??
This is an important part of responsible pet ownership. It can help to ensure that your dog is well-behaved and safe to be around. There are many different methods of training, but all of them share the same goal to teach your dog to follow your commands every time the first time.

It’s never too late or too early to learn basic manners. If you’re after a dog who comes when called, walks politely by your side, stays where asked, and sits to say hello to family members, guests, and strangers, These are is the courses for you! Using a modern balanced and an innovative approach, we’ll turn your unruly, (seemingly selective hearing dog) into focused, responsive lifelong companion will also will work to fix those unwanted behaviors such as not pulling on walks, jumping on people, bolting through doors, etc. They also will learn the following commands in ALL of our program options.

2 WEEK PROGRAM:
Are you tired of your dog’s bad behavior? Do you wish you could have a dog that is obedient, well-behaved, and a joy to be around? If so, then you need to check out our 2-week dog training program! In just 2 weeks, we can teach your dog:
Manners: We will fix everyday problems such as pulling on walks, jumping on people, bolting through doors, etc.
Heeling: your dog will heel by your side and automatically sit when you stop
Sit / Down
Down stay – your dog will stay at the location
Place – your dog will stay a targeted place
Come when called (off leash is not included in 2 week package)

4 WEEK PROGRAM:
Do you have a dog that is disobedient, misbehaved, or just plain stubborn? If so, then you may need to check out our 4-week dog training program! In this program our trainers have more time to work more in depth with your dog and help with some of those harder to fix issues. We also now have time to start training your dogs off-leash training with a recall and the Place Command.
Manners: We will fix everyday problems such as pulling on walks, jumping on people, bolting through door ways and more.
Heeling: your dog will heel by your side and automatically sit when you stop
